Alana De La Garza has earned a reputation on TV. De La Garza, a Mexican American father as well as an Irish American mother, was born in Columbus Ohio on June 26 the 26th of June, 1976. Then she began moving to Texas where she pursued the field of physical therapy at the University of Texas. De La Garza did not reside in Texas for very long, and she quickly relocated into Orlando Florida, where she played a variety of parts as an actor, as well as independent commercials as well as films. Despite the small role, she found that acting was her love. The year 2001 saw her move from the Midwest to New York where her first appearance was on the All My Children's daytime soap-opera as Rosa Santos. In the beginning of 2000, she appeared in small roles in JAG Las Vegas as well as Two and a Half Men. In 2008, she was awarded the Impact Award for Outstanding Performance in a Dramatic Television Series from the National Hispanic Media Coalition. De La Garza landed a recurring character in CSI Miami a short time after. She was cast as Marisol Delko, who is the wife of David Caruso's Horatio. In NBC's dark, dramatic show Do No Harm she played the role of the character Dr. Lena Solis. The series was cancelled after only two episodes. Alyssa Milano.............................Alyssa Jayne Milano was born on December 19 1972 in the Bensonhurst section of Brooklyn New York City to fashion designer and talent manager Lin Milano and film-music editor Thomas M. Milano. Milano was born Italian and has a 10-year-old younger brother who is named Cory. Her family was very strict and religious one. Milano began her acting career at age seven old. The babysitter took her along for her first audition. Milano was among four girls chosen from over 1,000 hopefuls. Milano appeared in commercials for television and on off-Broadway plays, among them the very first American musical rendition to Jane Eyre.
